Dr. Tahsin Islam is a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician. She did her MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and obtained FCPS degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from BCPS. Now she is serving as a Consultant (Obs & Gynae) under Bangladesh Civil Services (Health Cadre). Her area of specialty is "Urological problems of women". She has been working in this field since long and received training on "Female Pelvic Floor Disorders". She has also done a Diploma on "Urogynaecology". Along with general gynaecology and obstetrics, she has special skills in treating patients with Incontinence, Utero-vaginal prolapse, Perineal tear, Fistula and other pelvic floor disorders.
